Perspectives on Well-Being

Sometimes, we don't know what helps us manage stress until we've experienced it; this includes accessing personal resources and seeking help when necessary. I encourage you to use our work together in conjunction with your current medical and allied health practitioners. Issues can be addressed from different angles in order to reach a more reconciled, integrated state of being.

Yoga therapy and Yoga-based counselling give you the opportunity to connect better with yourself and Life by investigating, discovering and clarifying ways of living more resourcefully with improved functionality. Together we can develop a personalised Yoga practice for you, which targets your specific health issues.

Following a 30 min pre-intake assessment or a series of one-to-one consultations, you may choose to join one of my small group Yoga therapy classes, where you can benefit from the group energy and ongoing, personalised guidance from an experienced teacher. If you're a house-holder seeking a happier back or a better night's sleep, are wanting to reduce the impact of stress, or are dealing with cancer, please see the Yoga timetable for more details. Class sizes are limited so bookings are essential.

Yoga assists me to relax and delete unimportant trivia that can clutter my thinking. I look forward to my weekly yoga lesson with Trish - It's a friendly and fun way to start the day. Trish gently eases you into the poses that you really didn't think you could do. A Bit About Trish

In working with others to support well being, I believe in the power of connection, accessibility and appropriate practice. I've been an educator and practising Yoga for over twenty years and teaching Yoga since 2007 on the Gold Coast. I'm registered with Yoga Australia, the International and Australasian Associations of Yoga Therapists, the Australian Counselling Association and the Queensland College of Teachers. In 2013, I completed a Master of Education through Griffith University with research into work, stress, health and Yoga. I have the honour of ongoing Yoga Therapy studies under the guidance of teachers from the tradition of Sri. Krishnamacharya.
